Integration of Image Compression & Satellite Communication Systems for unman

This project aims to integrate image compression technology with satellite communication systems for application in unmanned vehicles. The primary objective is to equip unmanned vehicles with a low-datarate satellite terminal, enabling them to transmit captured images and information. Due to the transmission rate limitations of satellite terminals, image compression technology is required to reduce data volume while maintaining real-time viewing and discernible image quality.
The project includes antenna design, system integration, and practical testing on unmanned vehicles. The antenna design will be optimized for low-data-rate satellite terminals to ensure stable data transmission
within limited bandwidth. System integration will focus on ensuring that unmanned vehicles can reliably transmit data and support real-time monitoring. Practical tests will be conducted in various environments to validate the system’s stability and performance.
For antenna design, a lightweight and compact structure will be adopted to minimize any impact on the operation of unmanned vehicles. In terms of system integration, seamless collaboration between the satellite terminal and other onboard systems will be ensured to enhance data transmission stability and efficiency. Practical testing will evaluate the effectiveness of image compression, data transmission speed, and overall system performance.
This project will improve the efficiency of unmanned vehicles in remote monitoring and data transmission while promoting the application and development of related technologies. Challenges include miniaturizing the antenna design and integrating the system components, requiring precise engineering and innovative solutions to overcome. The successful implementation of this project will provide an efficient and reliable solution for remote monitoring and data transmission in unmanned vehicles, further advancing the development of related technologies.
