SATORO has successfully operated seven satellites in orbit, including 5 academic satellites and 2 commercial satellites. The true value of satellites does not lie in copying and manufacturing cheap hardware but in executing successful and meaningful space missions.

One of the key factors in achieving successful space missions is the satellite operation engineer. Like pilots who fly aircraft are highly valued, satellite operation engineers also play a crucial role. However, many organizations unfamiliar with the space industry often treat satellite operation engineers as convenience store clerks, expected to be on call 24/7 doing small things.

Three years ago, our company began adopting a trainee system inspired by the pop music industry to cultivate satellite operation engineers. We recognize the importance of these engineers and understand that a trainee program is not about producing robotic performers but about nurturing space operations superstars with soul.

Under this system, SATORO will provide trainees with fundamental satellite operations knowledge over a three-month period and assign them routine maintenance tasks. More importantly, this process aims to develop their perseverance and endurance, as discipline is the foundation of satellite operations.

If a trainee performs well, they will have the opportunity to advance to the role of Co-Pilot and, eventually, to become a fully independent Pilot.
